The Taxi Number 9211 jodi, no no, not John Abraham and Nana Patekar, but John and director Milan Luthria have teamed up to produce a film. John turns producer with this film that they have been working on quietly since the last ten months. Scheduled to go on the floors in August, this romantic film will be full of SXF. The duo has already visited studios in Las Vegas and London. In fact, they are currently hunting for a leading lady and are in talks with one.
Reluctant to divulge any details, actor-turned-producer John says, “Milan and I have a wonderful working relationship. We had a great time making Taxi Number 9211. But hey, I wouldn’t want to talk about our film at this point of time.”
Milan on the other hand reveals, “John is certainly with me in this film as more than just an actor. We will both produce the film together and are already in the process of tying up with a top studio in the West. John’s a wonderful guy who is involved in every aspect of making the film. Right from scripting to the technical departments, he’s hands on. The film’s subject is one that is special and close to John’s heart. We’re both extremely passionate about making this film.”
Adds our source, “The film will be made on a reasonable budget with Rajat Arora, who wrote Taxi Number 9211, writing it.
