Diploma Entrance Test-2009
Introduction:
For Admission to 1st Semester Diploma Courses in Engineering/Technology/Beauty Culture, Lateral Admission to 3rd Semester Engineering/Technology and 1st Semester Non-Engineering Diploma Courses In Hotel Management and Catering Technology/Modern Office Management/Pharmacy. The Diploma Entrance for the year 2009-10 for admission into 1st Semester Diploma Courses in Engineering/Technology/Beauty Culture / Lateral Admission of the State Candidates into 3rd Semester Diploma courses ana 1 st semester/year Non-Engineering Diploma Courses in MOM/HMC&T/Pharmacy will be conducted on 31.05.2009 (Sunday) throughout the State.
Eligibility:
For admission to the first semester Diploma courses:
* Candidates who have passed / appeared the 10th class examination in 2009 conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Orissa or its equivalent examination are eligible to appear the Diploma Entrance Test, 2009. However, at the time of counselling candidates who have passed the qualifying examination i.e. 10th standard examination securing pass mark in both Math & Sc. are only eligible for admission, conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Orissa or its equivalent are only eligible for admission.
For admission into 3rd semester diploma courses under Lateral admission:
* Candidates who have passed Two years trades of ITI after passing 10th class examination or Candidates who have passed +2 Vocational (Not +2 Science, Arts or Commerce) are eligible. Such candidates must have obtained not less than 60% marks in the concerned qualifying examination and must be permanent residents of Orissa (Permanent Residence Certificate in Annexure - IV is to be produced).
How to apply:
Candidates desiring to have application form etc. by post (Regd. Post) may send Rs.350/- (Rupees three hundred fifty) only by Bank Draft in favour of PRINCIPAL, BHUBANANANDA ORISSA SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING, CUTTACK payable at CUTTACK. No other form of payment is acceptable.
