Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Shaktisinh Gohil has alleged that much publicized Gujarat State Wide Area Network of the state government had lots of operational problem. In the question hour in the State Assembly, Gohil said that GSWAN had bandwidth problem and took hell of a long time even to open one’s gmail account.
He made this observation when the Minister Narottam Patel boasted about the E gram project of Gujarat government. The minister initially said that E gram and GSWAN were different but later agreed that two operated on the same network. In reply to Gohil’s question, he said that such a huge network was bound to have some problems, but the government was committed to provide efficient service.
