Airtel Broadband 16 mbps plans with 20/50GB data transfer limits.
Airtel Broadband has launched 16mbps broadband plans in the Indian market.
The company claims that this new plan is the fastest Wireline Broadband on DSL in the Country.
They have two plans on offer:
Rs. 2999 with a 20GB data transfer limit
Rs. 4999 with a 50GB data transfer limit
This service is powered with company’s Carrier Ethernet Network.
It is currently available in limited regions in Delhi NCR, Chennai and Bangalore.
They are soon going to launch it in other areas like Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai and Kolkata.
K Srinivas, Joint President, Telemedia Services, Bharti Airtel spoke at the launch of this new plan: “Airtel has constantly strived to innovate and deliver high quality products to its broadband customers. We are the leading private broadband service provider in the country and pioneered 8 Mbps broadband.
It gives us great pleasure now to be able to introduce the fastest, wired broadband service on DSL. We will be able to offer 16 Mbps broadband to 70% of the households in the 3 cities of Delhi NCR, Chennai and Bangalore.”
