Automobile major, Tata Motors, announced the launch of its Xenon XT (Cross Terrain) in the country.
We are launching Xenon XT (Cross Terrain), a lifestyle 4-door, 5-seater pickup vehicle in India. We have already sold 6,000 Xenon XTs in the overseas market, Tata Motors' President, Passenger Car Business, Rajiv Dubey, told reporters here.
The Xenon XT is priced very attractively, he said. It is priced at Rs 7.62 lakh for the 4x2 version and Rs 8.58 lakh for the 4x4 version, ex-showroom Delhi.
It will be retailed through 58 Tata passenger car dealerships across 39 cities to begin with, Dubey said.
The Xenon is already being retailed in the overseas markets of Thailand, Algeria, Italy, Poland, Saudi Arabia and South Africa, he added. This is the sixth vehicle launched by Tata Motors in FY 09.
