This year has been lucky for Olympic medal gold winners. It started with wrestler Sushil Kumar who got married in February and now it's Indian boxer Vijender Singh's turn to tie the knot. Vijender will marry long-time girlfriend Archana Singh today in the capital. The boxer, who just got back from the Arafura Games in Australia, where he won the bronze medal, spoke to BT after he landed at Delhi airport on Sunday evening. Viju said, "Yes, I'm getting married and my family is extremely happy about my decision. I have known Archana for four years now. I told my family three to four months ago after which they approached her family and the wedding date got finalised. Archana is a Delhi-based software engineer." The wedding, a private affair, will take place in Delhi at the bride's residence in Vasant Kunj today. "Only relatives and close family friends will be present. We'll have our reception in my hometown Bhiwani the next day," said the groom-to-be. So, what is he wearing on the D-day? "Fashion designer Manav Gangwani's outfit and Archana will don Tarun Tahiliani's design." He continued, "We have already sent across the wedding cards and are expecting a lot of personalities from the sports world at the occasion." His elder brother Manoj added, "Bahut jaldi mein ho rahi hai shaadi, we haven't invited any Bollywood stars... woh log kaise aayenge. Humne reception rakhi hai gaon mein. Badi dhoom dhaam se hogi shaadi ki reception. We have built a huge tent just behind our house.
Halwai bulaye hain, light lag chuki hain.. pura gaon bahut khush hai Viju ki shaadi ki khabar sunkar."
